boardgame house
Description
This house was designed as pice of the boardgame "Kingdom Builder" but might be used for several other boardgames too.
Instructions
printed with:
Prusa Mendel
ABS
Nozzle: 0.5 mm @ 220 °C
carrier: glass (no coating)
Skeinforge parameter advice:
It's best to use "Multiply" or arrange several of those small houses in one print run.
If only one house is printed it will either overheat or the printing time is increased massively when using the "Cool" option.
I tried 3 different parameter settings.
The best results were achieved with a "Solid Surface Thickness" of 1 (just for reducing the amount of used material) and 1 "Extra Shell on Sparse Layers" but with "Infill Solidity" of 0.0. This causes the house to be empty inside but with 2 shells.
The other 2 parameter settings used only 1 shell but with an "Infill Solidity" of either 0.25 or 0.0. Printing with only 1 shell resulted in lots of holes in the roof of the houses. However already an "Infill Solidity" of 0.0 seems sufficiently sturdy.
