Description

The OD of a 608 bearing is not a common Forstner drill size, so i created the plate to adapt a 1" hole in wood. There are tabs on the plate to lock it in place. This is only necessary if you slot the wood for adjusting.

Instructions

print at leat 50% infill, plate side down

the OD of the plate is slightly less then 1" to allow for slip fit.
The ID of the plate is a slip fit so to insert the bearing heat the PLA and press the bearing in on a flat surface.

Drill the hole about .300" to give the bearing clearance.
Use this for compression loads (pressing into the wood), not tension loads
I'm using this for this project: solsylva.com/cnc/rotomolder.shtml
