Instructions

Using the following options:

pattern_overlap = 25
iphone_version = 1
line_thickness = 3
line_shape = 5
pattern_rotation = 17
pattern_radius = 12
case_thickness = 1.8

After printing in clear PLA, I used Rustoleum bronze spray paint to give the case a metallic finish. I didn't prime or even wipe fingerprints and oils off the case before spraying, and the paint seems to be adhering well. I sprayed it on very thick, but the PLA absorbed it all for a nice, even finish.

It looks elegant! What is the wood under-layer? Did you add that to the printed case or is that something else?

@CaptainATI, that is a wood skin from http://trunket.com/

I've had it on my iPhone for a little over a year now, and while the front facing pieces have fallen off, the back piece remains firmly in place. I've been thinking about buying some super thin veneers from http://cardsofwood.com/ and making my own skin, though.

Anyway, most iPhone covers don't fit on top of it because of the added thickness, but the customizer case snapped on easily when printed in PLA. I agree that the result is elegant! Thanks!
