I just printed this, and while it's certainly cool, there are some improvement I'd make. First of all, an iPad 2 tips this object over when docked in portrait mode. I'd lengthen the base half an inch or so. Also. an iPhone 4 won't fit. Just a bit more clearance would be enough to make it fit. Also, the cable could be handled more gracefully; see http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...

Would you mind attaching the source file? A .obj file would be great!

or .DXF, or whatever.

nice. how did you emboss the logo/text? Ive done it with displacment / texture maps onnon flat surfaces and it works well but it makes the #polygons skyrocket and the file gets over 150mb.

the function in rhino called boolean difference.

Awesome on both designs hyperwerk! I'll need to learn a bit more to maybe make a variant that works when my Marware case is on. What app are you using?

the Printer is a ShaperCube with MakerBot Electronics and MK5 Plastruder.
