These are the 3D models we've used to create our metal PiCE+ case for the B+.
Design is based on data from the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
All the major components are present as well as some of the smaller resistors etc.

is there one with just the basic foot print and the key components? usb, Ethernet, gpio, sd slot, something like that? cause wile the model is very well detailed its kind more then i need for my immediate goal. and would it be possible to get the model file itself so i can use that as a reference?

Absolutely great. Could you please add the micro SD card reader to the bottom please?

I used this while creating a case for my B+. It's very accurate. I did have to make some small tweaks as a few bits are not perfect.

Someone's gotta say it: this is an incredible piece of work! Way to raise the bar.
