Combination derivitive of Fractals knuckle link, Open designs initial drawings and the previous knuckle lounger.
The seat explores using the knuckles in a configuration where they become a maluable surface.
Whole seat is made from 18mm ply sheet.
You need a grand total of 216 knuckle links so get that spindle warmed up...
There are wee circles which go inbetween the open ends of the knuckle lay out. you need 62 of these.
All knuckles are joined by an M10 threaded rod.
The legs and cross braces slot together, only cut one of each. These would be best to glue in place to avoid failure. I have tried to arrange the crossbraces and the side panels in a way which will produce a stable and strong structure. Yet to be tested though so take care on the first sit.
