Summary

A small enclosure for a 170-point micro breadboard (2.2" x 2.1" x 1.5"). The holes are sized specifically for a Spark Core microcontroller and optional antenna. There is a small riser in the holder to allow room for antenna and/or hookup wires to run underneath or wrap around the breadboard to keep things a little tidier. The pieces snap together with small tabs at the bottom (the open side) of the cover. Friction also helps keep it held together. Looks great in clear or white ABS and PLA as it helps diffuse the onboard RGB LED!

Instructions

  1. Put microcontroller on breadboard.
  2. Hook up any components.
  3. Wrap jumper wires around breadboard (optional).
  4. Install antenna (optional).
  5. Put breadboard in holder.
  6. Push holder into cover until it snaps and the pieces are flush together.
  7. Enjoy!

Hey man.

Nice print.

I would like to print this for myself. Are you sure you wrote the mini breadboard dimensions correct?

I think they should be 1.77" x 1.34" x 0.35" .

I would like to purchase a mini breadboard for my print, but I don't find any 2.2" x 2.1" x 1.5" boards.

You may be correct. The ones I have are from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKS7BD8. I may have mismeasured or pulled the incorrect dimensions from somewhere. I promise I have actually put a breadboard in one of these!

All good man.

Those specs on the amazon page is exactly what I upload as my first answer.

One of the guys at my makerspace(makerlabs, south africa) has already started printing it today & I'm collecing a new mini breadboard on saturday. I will give you feedback and also upload the finished print.
