Description

I removed the files after seeing new user agreements. I don't like the feel that Thingiverse owns the design. Files are here reprap.org/wiki/Prusa_Mendel

I got it to work using RepG 0027 and Skeinforge 44. (Using the SF31 Cupcake-ABS-HPB profile.)

Prusajr, I am unable to generate Gcode from the X-end idler. Is it possible that the provided STL file is corrupt? I shall continue my attempts, considering not doing it in RepG.

It appears as if they no longer require PLA bushings. They simply slide onto the smooth rod. I like it, albeit print time is more.

Hey Prusajr,

What is the benefit of the updated x-end-idler/motor designs? They look like they use a lot more plastic than the older version. Also, what are the diameters of the x/y-carriage bushing holes?

Hey Prusajr,

Skeinforge wont eat up the endstop holder you have on github: https://github.com/prusajr/Pru...

Is the file corrupt?

Great work!!! I can't wait to print it!! I was curious if you could upload the files for your extruder. Or post a link to an extruder that I could print.

~Thanks :)

I think the new work on printed linear bearings might be a nice replacement for the pla bushings.
