It's a honeycomb pencil holder! Choose the cell size, height, floor thickness, and hex radius, and away you go!

I design things in my free time, just for fun. If you like my stuff, send me some DOGE. It'll totally make my day! Thank you.

My local Micro Center printed this

im having a bad time trying to slice it with slic3r, it just gets stuck on triangulated mesh.

3 things to try when you have an issue with slic3r that I've found
1) run through http://cloud.netfabb.comcloud.netfabb.com
2) Try adding more memory or slicing with a different machine (or try a different version of slic3r)
3) Use MeshLabs' quadradic decimation filter to cut the model's resolution in half.

Have you tried running it through Netfabb?

Nice!! <- two thumbs up

Thanks for sharing. I think with real big holes it could be handy to store stuff too, paperclips etc...
