Description

This is a derivate of the Z-Probe, using a micro servo and a minimalistic approach without any printed parts.

Besides a micro servo, you just need 2 paper clips, a M3x20mm bolt (16mm might be also ok), two M3 nuts and some electrical tape.

Instructions

Hey Zaggo, love your design.

I was going to make one for mine, but the older acrylic platforms won't fit it. But I had a brainwave and came up with something even simpler:

Cheers,

What precision and resolution are you trying to achieve / did you achieve?

would it be possible to put some little printed ramps on each end of the build platform that it could ride up after it aligns the z-axis and then it could detect the x and y ends as well?
