I made this iPhone 5 case, just like my 4S case, because the cases I downloaded printed too thin, and not exact fits. This model is a really tight fit for the iPhone, but if you want to print it, go ahead. However, i designed it empty so people can add in their own designs into the center. Whatever they like. Logos, pictures images. Have a blast.

You can print this iPhone 5 case if you like, but you can also make your own little thing to put inside of it. The dimensions of the square you need to put in, in mm is:

Width: 57.25 mm
Length: 94.306 mm
Height: 2 mm

It's not broken. In your CAD software you can check dimensions. They match the dimensions for the device per iPhone schematics. I checked and prints perfect on my printers. Please check the calibration of your printer on all three axis.

Definitely does not fit :( too short

Hey ajolivette,
could you give me the dimensions you used here for the design?

Whew. I made this so insanely long ago.... I think I used a dimensions file from my old Apple's hardware designer account. I'll have to look for it.

I found the width just right, but the height too short.

Nice to see people complaining about the dimensions being off (in different directions depending on who is complaining). Doesn't take much to understand that they have miscalibrated printers...

Just printed the case on the MakerBot 5th Gen. It fits my iPhone 5.

Just printed one out, sadly it did NOT fit my AT&T iPhone 5. The length is perfect, but the width seems to be 1mm too short. If someone could fix that, would be awesome! Printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 with latest firmware.

The width is about right for the iphone 5, but the length is a little too tight. Might want to tweak that a bit.

it's a bit too small for an iPhone 5 :/

I'm glad it worked out for you. You're welcome.

This is my first model which I made by 3D printer! Thank you for sharing your work!

do you have a sketchup file. thanks

hey! sketchup cannot support 3d printer
