Printed this on a Replicator 2X that just arrived yesterday. MakerWare had no problem slicing this up easily and quickly. I did have to print it using Medium quality because it required supports and MakerWare does not offer a High quality print with supports.
Settings:
ABS
Medium Quality (with Supports)
Profile: Medium
Slicer: MakerBot Slicer
Infill : 10%
Number of Shells: 2
Layer Height 0.27
Extruder Temp: 230 C
Platform Temp: 110 C
Speed Extruding: 80 mm/s
Speed Traveling:100 mm/s
Props to Archimedes as this is a cool Babylon 5 model.
That is great news, I have printed it with supports and it turned out really nice too. I printed with pla, so the supports are hard to hide. I will be sanding it down and painting it, but now I will try it with abs.
