Description
This is a fan mount for NEMA 17 motors to hold a 40mm fan with hole centres spaced 32mm
Instructions
Print and attach fan with 3mm tapered screws.
Holds onto motor without further fixtures.
Designed to fit on my y axis although I have a 275mm wide bed so this may not fit on all Meldels due to overall length.
Thanks goes to hudbrog for use of his G-code viewer :)
This is my first thing nothing special yet functional. Hope you like :)

Here is a problem I had though. The motor was getting so hot that I think it was distorting the belt. My prints would shift up by about half a mm.(or more) each layer. Finally I put a fan on a roll of tape pointing at the motor for the deration of my prints and now they seem to print quite well. Is my motor reaching crazy hi temps. like above 70c., are my belts crazy cheap(stock printrbot jr. belts) or are the fans really atually just a good idea? No derission meant this is an actual question.
