Description
This is a simple 3D printable egg tray.. Almost every aspect is parametric in OpenSCAD; you could theoretically size it to fit just about any where.
Instructions
Download the OpenSCAD files...I don't recommend just building this from STLs as this justs fits on a makerbot replicator 2.
Measure the need size then change how may row and colums of egg to fit nicely.
printed out in PLA
With 0.5mm thickness
and an infill of 10% but should of been 30%.
had some problems with print,
turns out my build plate is warped and that the bottoms of the egg cups started to fall in,
think this print will need supports or something else.
Update 23/1/13 - i modifed the shape so hopefuly it the bottoms will not fall in again , haven't had a chane to print verson two out yet. will get back with the results.
update 27/1/13 - i have test printed my new design and found an error with the thickness setting, i have corrected this in Version 3.
