3D Voronoi Yoda - by @Dizingof
Description
Complex, organic, 3D (volume) Voronoi structure grown inside a Yoda bust.
Great as a booksend or as a unique, conversation starter, pencils holder on your desk.

Thickness: varies 1~5mm (organic)
Volume: 81 cm^3
NPR reporter on Yoda bust:
"One of the more popular things on the site is a bust of Yoda, and some designers on Thingiverse are doing amazing things with it. Someone turned it into a vase for flowers, another used math (fractals) to hollow it out in an incredibly beautiful, illegal way.. "

** I respect copyright laws and will remove this version of Yoda the second Lucas Films asks for a take down.
I've uploaded this design with the impression that it was OK for some time now by the copyright owner for the original Yoda bust.

Sorry everybody for my poor 270 microns ! (so for my english too)
I've just received my Replicator 2 and i've some problems when printing in 100 microns mode... PLA doesn't stick well... I have to try again...
printing one right now :) Think I'm giving it some acetone later :)
I've added a link by NPR radio reporter about the issue of copyright.
No one has the Cura error when slicing? It just says that something went wrong and couldn't be sliced about half way in the process.
Has anyone printed this with an Ultimaker using Cura? I keep getting an error when slicing and I have no idea why.
Nice!, a variant of the famous voronoi sphere done with MeshLab (printed 4 years ago...)
Wow... Dizingof did it again - leading us into a new dimension of 3D design.
May the Force be with you.
Printed this today on makerbot 2, no support. med quality, 9 hour print, excellent model, thanks
Has this thing been made? looking at the pictures, they look rendered.
this is awesome, I'm hoping my printrbot gets to me in the next two weeks, first print was going to be yoda, but this one now has it.

Standard size will not fit pencils and pens but took 6 hours on medium settings, no supports. Very cool though! Great job!
