One of my first tries with the DAVID SLS-1 Scanner.
The original is very dark and shiny, therefor I'am very pleased with the result.

I've just uploaded a new sliced Version, maybe this won't wrap that much.

Print and glue.

With 3D Slash, you can edit 3d models like a stonecutter. A unique interface: as fun as a building game! The perfect tool for non-designers and children to create in 3D.

Made the head, but had to use supports with my Makerbot Rep2. Came out a little dirty due to the supports. Anyone able to do it without? Tried and it failed very quickly. The base warped when I tried that as well. Love to hear any suggestions on other print methods if anyone has any. I'm pretty new to this stuff. Will post a pic when it's good.

I have just printed one. I would suggest that you print the whole alien head in one go -- do not separate them. The two parts becomes a problem, they never perfectly fit each other. It's also more time-efficient.

Ok. There you have it. The whole head in one piece is online.

AHH!!!!!!!!! Oh its just a picture Peww haha good job

Of course this is a picture, I have the original, why should I print it. :)
But I would like to see it printed.
Either nobody has printed it yet, or no one has uploaded a picture. :(

Do you have a Structured light setup, or use a laser?
