The air that goes through the fans will not come from outside air if the panels are installed. Air temperature inside will likely go up due to the hot print heads. The print head fans will be blowing warmer air and help circulate the warm air. Hopefully this doesn't affect keeping the extruder cool to prevent filament jams. I bet it will be fine.
I am thinking about this for safety purposes (young kids) and had not considered that it could help with printing. Are the drafts not coming from the printing head fans rather than external sources?
