I printed the ball-joint in PLA. It makes for a stiffer joint. Use 2 x 10 mm screws to secure the case halves.

And if it's unclear, the stand has a hole for a dowel. At the other end of the dowel is a printed piece to hold the end of a USB extension cable. I put my WiFi adapter up in the air for better connectivity.

Hi,

could you upload the parts seperately, so I can print not 2 parts at the same time?

Would be nice! Thank you

Hi.

You should be able to split up the pieces in your slicing software and slice/print them one at a time.

Hello,

Thank you for your work.

How go the camera into the accommodation?
I do not arrive there.

Kind regards.

How to screw tight both pieces of the pi case together? Any info on the dimensions of the screw, would be of great help!

Did you read the description?

where is the stand from?

See description for stand. The Raspberry Pi B has 2 USB ports and the B+ has 4. See octoprint.org to see how it all works.

I was told it couldn't power wifi and ramps both. But I will try it. Thanks for the quick reply.

It won't power RAMPS. RAMPS gets (should get) its power from the printer.

Ahh, well, my ramps will still pull power over USB, enough to power arduino and the LCD. (Not enough to power the motors, and resistors of course). I tried it, but had some issues, which I think at the time might not have been related. I just had people tell me it wouldn't work on the raspberry pi B to use wifi+printer. But, I suppose it is working for you which is what I wanted to know.

Can the raspberry pi b+ run both usb wifi, and the printer at the same time?

This is the first RasPi B+ case on Thingiverse I've been able to print in PLA and be usable without having really brittle parts or too tight of a fit. Nice job!
