Description
Since the new creation by iFeelBeta of the dissolvable PLA support material, I want to push it to the limit and throw the dual heads on makerbot for an even better printing experience. I have not made a rig to test this yet but so far it seems like it will work extremely well. Will be uploading firmware upgrades in about another 3 weeks or so ( bear with me because im not the greatest C++ coder for i've only been working in C++ for about 2 years, plus i'm just getting used to the firmware =(..). Also if anyone wants other files (including source firmware files in a little bit) can be uploaded in a couple of days. Also still making the printable derlin pieces. They will be up by thursday morning, Nov 4th, 2010.
Instructions
Once i get the other hot end for the other extruder i will put the ending of the extruder together.
FIRST: Print out these parts listed below (maybe tricky on a makerbot (working on a makerbot friendly version)) Print out Plate A.stl then Plate BD.stl twice for that is plate B and D (kinda obvious but why not say)
TWO: drill the holes out a little bit to ensure the holes are big enough for the m3 screws.
THREE: Put all plastic parts together. Just like with your old mk4/5 except with plastic plates not acrylic.
-Plate A is first to be put down, then B on top of A, then the derlin pieces will go on(stated above that will be posted later), and finally Plate D goes on. Will have pictures and wayy better instructions by thursday,
