A Printable Clark Y Airfoil

A Printable Clark Y Airfoil
|
Description
I see TMR has beat me to it, but I just finished a little something based on a Clark Y airfoil that should print out ok without supports.
You'll end up with a section of wing 10cm in span, a little more than that in chord (leading edge to trailing edge).
I used the fact that the Clark Y is flat on much of its bottom to print out that part of it horizontally, rather than standing up. I had to cut the wing into two pieces, chord-wise, but I think it should be a lot easier to print this way... and securing the two halves shouldn't be a major undertaking. Anyone up for making a tab-and-slot version?

Instructions
Some assembly required! :-)
You need to attach the leading edge section to the rest of the frame, and them cover it with some skin. I would recommend something fairly stiff for the skin, at least on the leading edge... which has no spar, just the tips of the ribs, because printing one there would require heavy support structure that would only serve during the printing process.
