Makes any object wall mountable! File is intended to be 'cut out' of another 3d model to create a hole that will allows for drop-in wall mounting.

Actually a great idea! I might have to make an wall mount Ipad case now with a flush-panel design and hidden cable area- I've thought about mounting some 1st g pad on my wall for others to use my Hue bulbs and Apple TV.

The thing in the picture actually looks like an iphone case. Would be kind of funny, not :D

Instructions

Use the provided DWG in your favorite cad program to 'solid subtract' this model out of a thing you want to mount on a wall- it will create a hole that a drywall screw will fit in and drop down onto, gravity locking the thing in place on the wall. The drywall screws should be screwed into the wall with 3/16" distance from the front of the head to the wall.

I usually print this with .2mm layers and at least 3 shells.

Bam. Wall mounted things.
