Instructions


Setup fan power source - I had extra FD power connectors on the PSU I bought, they have [5v,G,G,12v] just like regular molex connectors.

Print one left and one right bracket. They are roughly setup for the small fan I chose to use, you may need to make some modifications.

Use M3 machine screws to mount the brackets to the fan. I had a bunch left over from building my Makerbot. M3X16 was a little too long, but didn't hurt anything. You can probably use any hardware that fits your fan. I had to ream the holes a little for M3s, and they still threaded in well enough that I didn't need to add nuts.

Slide mounting brackets into z-stage opening.

!!Watch out on tall prints! This could run into your z-stepper on very tall builds!!
