SORRY that was 12864 Full graphic Smart controller.

Problems Installing Marlin and getting it to Mesh with my LCD 12864 Reprap discount Full Screen there is support for it but the script is fouled up... I get a Data Incompattabitlty.. and also My PC cannot seem to communicate with my Arduino and RAMPS 1.4 It installs Marlin Ok but after I see nothing on the Screen when I take the // out I also need to know what versions of Arduino are Compatable with my Hardware my Desktop that I built has no problems with Windows 7 Professional but it cannot seem to connect if I use Win XP Professtional....do I need an older version of the Arduino BOOTLOADER?

I have the same Error,

# define DOUBLEEXTRUDERS

because the same at compile time displays the following error:

Marlin.cpp: In function ‘void lcd4d_showStatus()’:

Marlin.cpp:2021:7: error: ‘ttHotEnd1’ was not declared in this scope

Marlin.cpp:2028:10: error: ‘ttHotEnnd1’ was not declared in this scope

I need Help :-D

Hi fellas,

I have tried with this
FIRMWARE under Arduino 0023 connected with the instructions:

TX LCD ---> RX1 Ramps 1.4 Z-max.
RX LCD ---> TX1 Ramps 1.4 Z-min.
+ LCD ---> + 5v Ramps 1.4
- LCD ---> - 5v Ramps 1.4

I cannot move anything even if I compile as a single extruder. This Firmware
has been created for Melzi o Sanguinololu.

The Marlin for Dual
extruders is now on the highest level with LCD not touch screen.

I want to develop the firmware for 4dsystems LCD to this point but I am just learning about Arduino
because I am a product designer. Someone can help with this?

Thank´s

could you help me?

I've looked far and I disable the second extruder pin E1 Marlin was -1

To make it work you have to disable the Fan 1 and E1 to activate the pin number.

I'll I can prepare, but I'm sick and usually catch the Mac recently, I always use the iPad or iPhone.

If I can prepare tomorrow.

Greetings.

And remember that this code is for a single extruder.

Compiled with arduino 0023 to work.

Hey man thanks again for the code, it works great on my MendelMax with a little
work.

Thanks again for the picture, it helped a lot when I installed.

Just so others avoid the same problems, you might make note in the description that it is not the main Marlin branch, rather RepRapPro branch (so you will need to use the right configuration.h for that), and that it needs to be compiled with arduino 0023 to work.

Thanks again!

also... how'd you get the version of the touchscreen firmware in the third photo? With the fan on/off? Is that also a custom edit of the firmware from the 4Dsystems IDE? Or can I download that somewhere?

Una versión de Marlin para la menel con placa Melzi o Sanguinololu pero he modificado el firm para que funcione también en la Ramps.

Saludos.

Thank you so much for posting this! I just ordered the screen.

I am not sure I understand the pinout yet. Are you saying you use the z-endstop pins? Is there any way you could circle them on this diagram?

The reason i ask is - it looks like you are using the same pins twice in the above diagram. Thanks
