Description

I was looking for an S Hook and was impressed with the original parameterised design. Unfortunately, I needed an S Hook that had a greater distance between the two hook ends. This design includes a length parameter which will automatically extend the S Hook if needed.

To speed up "compile and render", change the for loop in the module cutOpening.The change will reduce the number of steps taken to make the opening on the hooks.
This is done by changing the step angle from -1 to -$fa/2.

Instructions

Using Open SCAD, change the required parameters to suit your needs and generate an STL file to print. The instructions are consistent with the original S Hook. Just modify the new length parameter. I used a default length of 60mm for my garage hook. Setting the length to 0 will produce the same results as the original design.

Using infill of around 12 % worked well for me when printing. Enjoy!
