Description

Super miniature pump, derived off my own 'Mini Pump' - thingiverse.com/thing:4839

Please see :- madox.net/blog/2010/11/22/super-miniature-3d-printed-pump-using-up-pp3dp-printer/ for photos and demonstration/test video...

Instructions

The nozzle and motor cover is optional.
You'll see I didn't bother (yet) in the photos and Youtube Video.
The motor cover has a hole to feed the power wires to the motor, seal this up after passing the wires through.

With a 1mm shaft, the motor shaft passes through the casing and is pretty snug on the impeller - no glue required :)

Hi I have a printer at my diposal would u be willing to send me dimensions so i can make it on autodesk inventor? I want to make it for a ship I will be giving to a WW2 vetrian who served on the USS SPEARY.

P.S. The ship will be a model of the USS SPEARY

Oh and great job I cant belive how small it is and how good it works!!!! :-D

Oh I made an even smaller one today half the size... but my hands smell like nail polish remover now because I had to use CA [unsuccessfully]... :(

Uploaded the photo as a copy...yes the smaller one works too but not as much 'oomph'... hurt my eyes trying to assemble the thing :P

this is a cool idea, i could see rc boat guys liking this allot. 8-)

Do you have specs on the motor or any details on motor?

Very cool project.

Have you printed with UP! this design too, or shapeways?

Using the Up! of course ... Shapeways print would look a little bit nicer... oh wait it'll fail the Shapeways validator, I have a 0.4mm thin wall on the base cover [but that could be fixed...]

Is this makerbottable?

i think its a little too small for a makerbot, but what the heck, I'll give it a try. If anything, scale it up a bit and use it with a larger motor.
