The stock pulley is great, but depending on how your machine is built, .... this pulley extends the features a bit so that it is the full length of the X axis stepper drive shaft; therefore providing a truer rotation for better accuracy.


Nothing special, print and use. The slot for the M3 small outline nut is a bit small and can be opened a bit with an Xacto. I used a tap hammer and screw driver blade to set the nut into the slot. Enjoy.

I included the Inventor Fusion file for editing if useful. The model was created from my original Y Pulley so you will see many other features in the model file; more complex then it needs to be.

The teeth are a bit different then the stock part and should insure no extraneous play which would lead to accuracy errors.
