Description
This is derived from mpluma's "Filament spool holder for Prusa Mendel" thingiverse.com/thing:48856 . I needed a guide that would hang out to the side somewhat to work with my filamant spool, and really like the style of mpluma's spool holder, so I thinned it up from 15mm down to 10mm and closed off the end to keep the filamanet from jumping out.
Instructions
I printed this in PLA using slic3r with a .3 layer height, 3 shells, and .2 fill. It's a hard shape for slic3r, so the print will take a while. I am using Marlin firmware, which handles curves well. I'm not sure how the other firmwares will do.
