Astor Place Cube NYC
Description
Better known simply as the (Astor Place) Cube, the "Alamo" is a sculpture in Manhattan created by Bernard (Tony) Rosenthal. The Cube holds a lot of memories for me. I have wasted many nights hanging out, sitting, and watching some amazing skateboarding around this cube. I based all of my design work from photos and memory. This was a challenging project, done all on Tinkercad. And it spins, just like the real one. This miniature is the perfect desk ornament for any lover of New York City.

Instructions
I printed the cube on a 45 degree angle with supports, because it was the best way to perserve the detail on all sides.

Had some trouble keeping the object on my build platform. Added some ear rafts and it worked perfectly. Great design! Here's mine uploaded with support rafts: http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...
