Extra-rugged Y axis belt clamp/tightener (parametric)
Description
I was having trouble with my PLA printed Y platform belt clamps softening enough that they let the belt relax while the bed was heated for ABS printing, so I designed this braced belt clamp.
Once I got the printer working well enough I printed another out of ABS so it's even better.
The height of each bit is parametric so could be used with anything but is currently set up to work well with my new Prusa i3. The included STLs are set up for either SAE or metric and GT2 belt.

Instructions
If you're building a printer with the belt 23mm from the bottom of the carriage on one side and 16mm from the bottom on the other side (Prusa i3 with GT2 20 tooth pulley and standard skateboard idler bearing) you can just use the included STL (either SAE or metric). Otherwise fiddle with the SCAD file.
After printing, drill out the bridge layers above the nut traps. Place on your Y platform in the correct location, drill pilot holes for wood screws or whatever you will use to attach it. Attach temporarily, then drill clearance holes for the clamping screws (drilling through the screw holes in the clamp and into the Y carriage material) - this allows the clamp tightening screws to protrude into the carriage a bit.
THEN remove from the bed, put nuts in the nut traps and replace on the platform, assemble with the belt up as shown.
