Description
I modified geeezer's case for the MarcoAntonini TFT LCD touchscreen. This one is designed to mount on 2020 misumi extrusions.
Instructions
Running on RAMPS v1.4 has some extra instructions noted below.
You will need 2x M3 15mm screws. You can use the M5 10mm screws from your old MendelMax vertex for mounting.
The touchscreen pictured is the 4D Systems uLCD-32PTU.
Original FW is available here, based off RepRapPro:
thingiverse.com/thing:38749
Go to MarcoAntonini's blog and follow his installation instructions for the 4D Systems smart touchscreen.
If you use RAMPSv1.4 there is a compatible version of Marlin available here:
thingiverse.com/thing:47912
So mine works great right now!
Keep in mind that the above firmware is based off of the reprappro version of Marlin. I'm not sure how much is in common with the main branch. To get it to work you will have go through the configuration.h and change all the fields to their correct values from your Marlin configuration.h, then compile and upload using the older arduino software version 0023.
