I made this using 3d heightmaps of a mjolnir image I found online. I printed it in glow-in-the-dark PLA and wear it on a steel chain.

The original STL was so detailed that my Slic3r just couldn't handle it. I had to decimate it 90% using blender and fix the holes this generated in netfabb. In the end though, I'm very pleased how it turned out!

This will slice with slic3r but it literally takes hours so don't give up. The print shown was printed at 600%. Rep your viking norse gods and 3d printing at the same time.

I'm failing horribly trying to make this, Can someone help with a few Makerbot 2 settings? - Scale, infill (none?) shells? I've leveled and placed on the platform, but it keeps lifting up on the first level. tried adjusting temperature, moving on the platform, etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Looks like the bottom has separated pieces, but the prints are one piece?
