Celebrate Movember all year long with this festive mustache ring!

This ring was created as a test for Nickel for Scale. You can easily parameterize it to fit your hand by changing the inner diameter in the .SCAD. Or for the brave, you can download the latest Nickel for Scale code and run it yourself. (Details available at nickelforscale.com)

I found out that this object is great for calibrating the E-steps, Gotta tell ya amy your e-steps on that ring your sporting are way to low up by 5 to 10% print again , My GF ends up with all my mo-rings but gonna print one again today, or three depending on how fast my e-steps are right, remember 0.72b was the last slicer with accurate e-steps :(
print solid and take a picture to really see detail. (blow it up) this particular object can tell you a lot about your machine, will post pic laterz .

I uploaded a video of a time-lapse recording of this getting printed on Youtube: http://youtu.be/CPqd9aZqJ-whttp://youtu.be/CPqd9aZqJ-w (:

Awesome. Now each of my kids will always have a disguise on hand if necessary. ;) Thank you!

I made the inner dimension of the ring 26.3mm so that it would fit a bottle...I played around in OpenSCAD trying to figure out how to add a break in the ring to make it easily slip onto the bottle to no avail. Then I realized I could just snip the ring and achieve the same result in 2 seconds.

Instant BeerMo!

We used the picture of this design on our kickstarter project!

Nice! I'm printing one now. :-D

This has to be the coolest, most lovable thing I've ever seen for 3D printing

Haha, printing the raft took nearly as long as the actual ring!

Just what I was looking for...
