Sorry this came out so poorly! Customerizer has some serious - shall we say - "shortcomings". What you see in OpenSCAD is Unfortunately *not* what you get from Customizer.
I suggest you download the OpenSCAD and make your changes in the code. Then you'll get what you expect.
BTW, your latitude range should have been chosen to match your latitude - or you put in the wrong latitude?
