A Highly Customizable Cupcake Pick Maker for your 3D Printer.
Make Customized Cupcake Picks for your next party. Other uses for this are welcome :)
There are 3 Layers of Graphics and/or Text plus 1 Pick Layer that is put on the lowest layer and on the platform.
With the Replicator 2 you can pause a build when it starts printing on the next layer and then you can change colors and get multicolored prints.
When You set a Layer to be Text, the proceeding layers will not work, so make your first layer or two a Graphic, then use Text as one of the last Layer Styles if you want a billboard style pick.
If you do your first layer as Text, you can use values that will keep all the text together and set the "Line 1 Put Line Through Text Thickness Scale" to Zero to get rid of the support rectangles.
Or you can use a larger value (Thicker rather than thinner, depending on how small your pick will be)
You have an option to make everyother character in a line of text slightly thicker than the other characters to make it pop more.
If you have improvements to my code, or want a feature, or have suggest designs to add please message me and I'll try and add them when I can.
I printed the multi layered pick using 200micron profile and 100% fill and 1 shell, you probably can get by with much less fill. Also the multi layered shamrock pick is about 4 inches high, and the 200 micron profile worked perfectly. Anything smaller I would suggest a 100 micron (.1mm) Resolution, especially if it has Text.
Supports should not be needed, unless you don't customize the Cupcake Pick Correctly.
