Summary

I spent a long weekend printing 43 colors 4x sample chips. Handy when away from your filament collection and need to color match.
The reason for the "shelf" is so you can see what 1mm and 2mm looks like. This is important especially with translucent colors. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://tinkercad.com/things/58LeCivniq9

Instructions

I print 100% infill to give best case for color comparisons. The reason for the "shelf" is so you can see what 1mm and 2mm looks like. This is important especially with translucent colors.
I added a sticker to the reverse side to keep track of where the filament was purchased.

just curious, where do you get your filament from that has so many color options?

Nice! Thanks for sharing

Very clever idea

I love this idea. Previously I was using the little filament frames but they don't really show how the plastic looks when printed.

I did the very same thing - and moved on for the very same reason.
