Description

This is a generic mount for a HS-311 servo (the same one used on the MakerBot Unicorn). I'm creating a series of modular mounts for doing simple motor control. This is the latest entry.

Instructions

1. Print it out
2. Insert your servo (if the wires come out the side, use a knife to make a groove)
3. Bolt it on using M3 x 16mm bolts
4. Bolt it to something else!

can you change it to also be horizontally?

thanks, this will be great for my drone... :)

Just rotate it 90
° in the Y axis in RepG before printing. ;)

yeah, that probably wouldn't be too hard.... its an openscad file if you want to give it a try. i don't know what you're looking for exactly.

This is exactly what am looking for! What great timing.

What is the reason for printing it vertically? Would it not be stronger on its side?

Yes, it will be stronger printed on its side; less tendency to delam under stress.

no real reason.... just made sense to me to do it like that. :)
