Additional file uploaded (servobrackettest.stl) which has the dimensions and holes for mounting the servos onto a frame of your choice using the supplied self tapping screws. They screw well into printed ABS plastic.

This is great.

My tiny Thing-o-matic is too tiny to print all 4 at one shot - how can I split the file into 4 separate wheels? Or is it possible to put a raw cad file up for editing?

No I haven't before, but looking at those photos do I truly appreciate the quality of the Up! printer...

Another idea for a large wheel (same as Thing 2473) would be o use entire all printed parts with A and B rollers that snap into each another. e.g. http://www.madox.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/DSC03197A.jpghttp://www.madox.net/blog/wp-c.... You could almost forgo bearing if you drill out the holes cleanly :) [Was my ori
ginal plan until I reduced the scale forcing me to change to using M3 bolts and bearings as the ABS was too weak when they're that thin]

I never got around to that post. I just hope I didn't sound too arrogant owning a nice printer.

The Up! has its imperfections too and I think the imperfections are what makes these printers great.

The home 3D Printing scene in my view is to spur creativity and thinking, with a perfect printer you just need to draw and print. We end up losing the practical engineering skills of the real wor
ld, the cater for tolerances and design constraints. Simply put, an imperfect printer helps prepare the younger generation for the real world. A perfect printer just spoils you and spoils the fun.

The MakerBot prints. The Dimension uPrint ones were pretty good. Though I do admire the MakerBot's imperfection... I'm writing an essay/post on why that's good.

Uploaded the Hubs and the Rollers... don't know why the rollers come out at that angle... rotate it back to 'flat' before printing...

Will update all the files once I get the Infocast :P Bought for $49 from Best Buy, don't want to use my nice Chumby Ones hehe
