Easter Island Statue
by Replicantnexus7, published
A Rapa Nui Moai Easter Island statue with topknot. The topknot has a hole through it, for a key chain.
This was my first successful print after 3 solid days of abort, abort, abort, abort. Found out about clogging nozzles, sticking filament spools, different pull rate for PLA and compatibility of trying to run the latest versions of python, replicatorg and driver (after much head banging, went back two versions to the stable versions, got everything cleaned up and looks like mass replication ahead. I was able to build the statue with raft/no support, although some detail in the feet were lost. The topknot is a separate piece. The base is just the 20mm calibration block. Super glue really holds these parts together.
