This is a lamp looking like a minecraft diamond block.
There is two versions : one with the bottom sculpted like all the sides, the other one with a full bottom.

Man, that looks soooo real! Some of my students are great fans of minecraft, they could talk about it for hours! They are going to love it.
I personally love the blue glow. Fantastic.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.
I would love to see the lamp made as a school project, if you do so please let me know.

Hi, can you share what kind of color changing light you are using in the video? Or anything similar, simple to implement with multiple colors used at once?
Otherwise I would use a basic lamp stand and add milight bulb inside :)

Thanks for great idea!

It was not made by me but by matt448, I think you should ask him or go check out his blog post about how he made this lamp.

Blog post : http://matthewcmcmillan.blogspot.fr/2015/09/ble-controlled-minecraft-nightlight.html
His remix : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1023004

He said he used a RGB LED strip.

that looks very complicated but im still huge fan

noice!!!!!! if you want to be friends

really awesome!!!!!!

Thanks :D

Looks like an awesome idea

Great work! I noticed the sides did not come out that well because of the square corners... stinks for the inevitable imperfect squares.

If someone make it please send me a picture, it will become my thumbnail ;-)

i will make a note to make one and take a picture

Thank you for showing your support. I hope you will have fun with this lamp.

Could you put the box and lid in separate files? Some of us will need to flip the box over, so the open side is at the top, to print without supports. We can't do that with the .stls as they are now.

Thank you to tell me that, this is an issue which I had not thought.
