We're excited and proud to launch Thingiverse Apps. Learn More about what this means to you.
This creature is a weird hybrid of scorpion, octopus, turtle and who knows what else. In spite of that, it is surprisingly friendly and likes to help out around the house.
Designed using the awesome 123D Creature app for the iPad. You can find the source files on the Autodesk 123D gallery here: http://www.123dapp.com/3dcr-Creature/Scorpid/1241048
The whole creature is in the file scorpid.stl, if you have a fancy printer with full support print that one.
I actually ended up slicing off the tail, so I could print it upside down (legs up) and reduce the amount of support material required. The two scorpid plate files contain this version, as an .stl or as a .thing file.

So what's this mean?
We're sure gpvillamil would love to see what you've printed - take a photo and share it on Thingiverse as a Make.
To post a Make simply visit this Thing again and click I Made One to start uploading your photo. You can also download the Thingiverse Mobile app (available via Google Play and Apple App Store) to take a photo and upload your Make right from the app!
