Description

I improved the overhangs (they are now 45°) and added mounting tabs.

Instructions

The file currently makes a Arduino Mega case with tabs and no cutouts. It is still parametric so adjust to fit your PCB and choose tabs and/or cutouts.

After printing one that was a little big I made one that was shorter (the "test" file - 10-20mm vs 100mm) that I could print faster and check the fit.

Thank You, used it for a synaptic touchpad PCB.

How well calibrated if your printer? I am wondering if the tabs came out wonky on mine because I am still printing on rafts or if my skeinforge setting are off, or something else entirely...

Also, I slightly modified your design here so I could scale the tabs:

do you know how to "properly" label it as a derivative?

My machine is fairly well calibrated. I print with PLA and no raft. Do you have pictures of the "wonky" print?

I don't know how to set a design as a derivative after it is created.

Hmm, I could make this a little more dynamic to suit PCBs that need extra X height, like ones that have components on the bottom...

Both the original and my version allow for that :)

pcb_bottom_margin = 2.5; // this is the clearance under the PCB
...
box_height = 10; // this is the total height of the box
