Greek Wall Art - Laser Cut
Description
This is a Greek wall art thing that I laser cut for my girlfriends parents as a Christmas gift. It's a verse from a famous Greek song about a young girl. I think it looks cool because the Greek alphabet has some pretty funky looking letters.
I will place a few more pics and video on sharemake.com of another acrylic one that I also cut.
I will also post the translation once I find it again.

Instructions
Just cut this out of any thickness material. The one pictured is cut from 6mm MDF and is about 765mm X 150mm. Also looks good in acrylic. I added a 0.2mm kerf as this helps keep the square detail on the fine ends of the letters.
I hope you like it.

Looks very nice. How did you finish it? Is that a stain or paint?

I stained the MDF and as it was drying just ran the half dry paint brush long ways down the part which gave it a more authentic wood grain look. Most can't tell that it's just MDF.
It a neat little trick which I think I'll use again. I like cutting MDF as it so flat and consistent.

How can I purchase one? I live in the USA.
You could always download the design and send it to a laser cutter in the USA. Sorry but I live in Australia, or I could cut one for you.
