Summary

This is a front scoop for the Parallax Shield-bot that incorporates IR LED's and Receivers in the front of the scoop.

Instructions

The Scoop is for a competition that requires you to push objects off of a table in a set time limit, and you must be able to detect the edge of the table so that you do not fall off. The IR LED's and Receivers in the front of the scoop allow you to detect the edge of the table and back-up before going over. I also put some small holes in the top of the scoop so that if you need to add more sensors or accessories, you can drill them out with a 0.10" diameter drill bit, and they will become self tapping holes for #4-40 sized screws.

Print the Scoop and secure it to your bot using 5/8" standoffs, or whatever size you want. The mounting holes match the hole pattern on the front of the Bot.
