OpenSCAD wireframe mode using GLIntercept
by drkow, published
A ghetto wireframe view for OpenSCAD using GLIntercept.
I wanted wireframe mode in openscad so that positioning things inside of other things was easier.
Using GLIntercept, we can accomplish this.
Install GLIntercept from https://code.google.com/p/glintercept/
(if your OpenSCAD is in C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSCAD, get the 32 bit version of GLIntercept)
Copy gliConfig_FreeCam.ini and OpenGL32.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\GLIntercept_1_1_0 to C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSCAD
rename gliConfig_FreeCam.ini to gliConfig.ini
start OpenSCAD, open and render an object.
Now while moving the 3d view, hit the keyboard shortcut ctrl-shift-w to enable wireframe. Due to a bug, the keyboard shortcut only seems to work while manipulating the 3d view.
