Summary

The fan on my Makergear M2 would tap the frame slightly when homing the X axis. This is easily fixed by rotating the fan slightly, but would mess up my feng shui ;-). I needed to keep the fan square and move it over a few millimeters. This bracket offsets the cooling fan.

update, I've moved the hole up 3mm to help the fan clear the clips on the build platform.

Instructions

I printed this thing in PLA using .25mm layers at 20% infill (standard settings) on an M2. I ran the STL through Netfab so it is clean and ready to slice. Just replace the original cooling fan bracket with this offset bracket.

Moving it up a bit to clear the fan clips makes this extra compelling. that was bugging me on my M2 as well. :)
