We're excited and proud to launch Thingiverse Apps. Learn More about what this means to you.
This was designed as a spice jar you could fill with your favorite spice and stick on your refrigerator. In addition to setting the size and tilt, the customizer lets you add holes for magnets, add a label to the jar or lid, or add holes in the lid to use it as a salt/pepper shaker.
This uses the same twist on lid mechanism as http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:56910
Use the customizer to generate the lid and jar parts separately. If you publish the results, attaching the two stl files (lid and jar) into a single thing will make it easier for others to match the parts.
For a clear window on the lid, I've been printing a single layer at high temperature (about 270 degrees for clear ABS).
If you have problems with the lid fitting, use the "part gap" parameter to adjust how tightly the lid fits.
For most settings, the parts should be printable without support material.
