Mendel Add on foot
Description
Using the thinner Prusa parametric footed vertex (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4148) I added recesses to allow clearance for the M8 nuts on the original vertices. I did not want to disassemble my machine as it's working so well :)
I did have a slight clearance with the M8 holes so double check the diameter you need.
I added Sorbothane bumpers too. These are awesome and silenced my machine totally :D (http://www.amazon.com/Sorbothane-Rubber-Non-Skid-Adhesive-Durometer/dp/B003IMSIBA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296534083&sr=8-1)

Instructions
The SCAD file has a commented out line to generate the left front and right rear versions you need. Or use the ones attached below. I then used some #6 1" screws that self tapped into the holes on the original vertices.
Rather than edit the configuration file, I just put in 15mm for the clearance holes.
On the license, I just kept it at what Prusa had. Not sure if I can use public domain if I used his thing to make mine.

Hehe nice idea :-) But why you just dont switch the actual vertexes with the new ones?
Yeah I have this thing running perfect at 70mm/s raftless, no HPB with PLA. Don't want to screw it up :) And I'm lazy too ;)
I think he did this so he did not have to disassemble the mendel since the vertexes are connected to everything 8-)
