Customizable stacking container, can be used to make pill boxes or other multi-chamber containers. All the parts are stackable, so you can pull off the bottom piece and attach it to the top when you're done. Each chamber can have different heights.

check out the instructions from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:56910 for more info on the bayonet connection parameters.

Such a great parametric design .

I'm trying to recreate the pill box that you have there but I want to make it larger to hold my medication. I want each one to be an inch tall and an inch in diameter. When I try and do that in the customizer it fails any suggestion?

Nice work walter, were do you get your plastic? I like your colours.

Thanks! I get most of my plastic from Octave ( http://www.octave.com/ABS-Filament/c123457117/index.htmlhttp://www.octave.com/ABS-Fila... ). I have the fluorescent green and red, not the regular green and red, and I tend to use gold and glow in the dark blue instead of orange and blue.

A request: since it's likely folks will want to print a set of them, would you mind letting people enter lots of labels, and use a 'part' parameter to pick between them? Customizer uses the 'part' parameter as a special case to render a bunch of models into one Thing. The example they use is multi-color printing, the same capability could be used for many labeled pill containers (e.g. "Mon", "Tue", "Wed", etc.

I'm imagining that you could have, say, 7 labels and 7 parts, and Customizer will bang out the whole batch in one Thing. You could do it with a bunch of variables (label1, label2, etc.) or perhaps one big string with a separater ("Mon,Tue,Wed,"...). Not sure if OpenSCAD's string functions could do the latter...

Cool, I wasn't aware of the special 'part' parameter. Looks like I'll need to update a bunch of my designs to work with it. I'll update this design and the others when I get the chance. I don't suppose the number of parts can be variable, It would be nice if it didn't have to be hard coded for exactly 7 objects.

Thanks for the request and the info about the part parameter!

Hey, do you have a design for the cap for the top? It's the piece you printed in red. I don't see how to get it out of Customizer. Is it just in the SCAD?

The top piece is the same as the others just shorter (height set to 4mm). That way you rearrange as needed.

Elegant little design. Printing now!
