I actually use brass bushings myself, you can just clip them into the old bushings with or without glue. Mine work fine on the X axis, but somtimes bindes on the the y axis, so I had to exchange the y axis to drilled out ptfe.

These are way too small for the bushings I have (same mcmaster p/n). After editing the git Prusa pla-bushings.scad to make some I find I get almost exactly r=6mm after some test prints. Peeking in the .HEEKS source (I don't have heekscad installed) I see what looks like a 6mm radius in the source to these, so I'm not sure why the dramatic difference. Perhaps the uploaded STL does not match the .HEEKS?
Nope these are 7/16 od for the stl and heeks. Don't know what's up with yours
