Summary

An openscad script that can generate a stator with various dimensions and any number of poles

Instructions

use the include statement to include the stat gen 0.3.scad file. The statement stator (); takes seven parameters. for example, stator (12, 10, 15, 20, 1.2, 1.5, 200); will generate a stator with 12 poles, with a height of 10 units, a collar with an inner diameter of 15 and outer diameter of 20, an outer diameter to pole length ratio of 1.2, a pole width ratio of 1.5 and a resolution of 200.

the motor posts are normally metal, so i presume there will be less field effect with plastic instead.

please make sure you read through the description above

I dont know how familiar you are with openscad but it sounds like you havent called the module. there should be a line that starts with //stator followed by numbers in brackets. delete the forward slashes and you should see a stator generated
